Exercise - Fight Fatigue

If you don't exercise, get your house in order because your life could be cut short from stroke, coronary problems or cancer. How does rebounding deliver so much more than other exercises? Researchers and exercise experts who have studied rebounder systems have found that because the user goes from weightlessness at the top of the bounce cycle followed by being exposed to several Gs (Gravity forces) during the rebound phase, there are unexpected health benefits that take place on a cellular level. Think of rebounding as a total-body experience from the inside out. Each bounce is like a mini transfusion of oxygen and blood into every cell in your body which now becomes several times heavier than normal for a few brief moments. During that short interval of added G forces, your skeleton and muscles exert as if they were carring a very heavy weight. This period doesn't last long and doesn't produce much strain, but is just long enough to do some serious muscle and bone building. You can also take advantage of this effect by holding small weights in your hands. For the brief instant that the G forces build up, the effect will be as if you were lifting a weight 1.25 to 3 times as heavy as the one you're grasping (the amount of change being determined by the height of the bounce). During that time your muscles will do some intense lifting, building up as if you had been working out with a much heavier free weight. It doesn't feel intense. It lasts only for a fraction of a second, but the work is still being done, even if you're almost unaware of it. This scientific use of G forces in exercise gives you the benefit of lifting a heavy weight without the dangers and because you're also bouncing to maintain this effect, you obtain the aerobic effect equal to that of jogging or other moderate workouts. In short, you're getting the best parts of all possible exercises. An additional plus is an almost total lack of injuries seen with many other aerobic activities. Besides eating a balanced diet, the single most beneficial thing you could do for your health is ''cellular-exercise.'' And that is where gravity plays a large part in boosting your immune system. Rebounding not only builds muscular strength, but cellular strength as well, hence cells are healthier, more resilient disease-fighters. Because the cells in the body live in an essentially zero-gravity environment, it is necessary to alter the G force in order for the lymphatic system(hence, the cancer-fighting immune system) to reap the full benefits of exercising. Jogging, swimming or other exercises cannot do this as they cannot offer the consistent change in gravitational force that is needed. Rebounders change the G forces from 0 up to 2 or more Gs on each bounce cycle. As NASA discovered, rebounding is the only exercise proven to exert the right amont of ''pull'' on the human body down to the cellular level. The lymphatic system becomes very active during exercise. What bouncing does is improve the body's own immunological system hence, making us more resistent to disease. Because the lymphatic system is equipped with microscopic one-way valves that limit the direction of its flow, rebounding has the added benefit of turning the whole body into a ''pumping machine'' that speeds the fluid through the lymphatic vessels. This effect doesn't take place with most other exercises, making rebounding more ideal in achieving the goal of building a healthy body and the key to longevity. When the lymph is activated through jumping, it pulls toxins, bacteria and parasites out of the body and sends those toxins to the liver for eventual waste removal. With regular, quick removal of toxins, the immune system is strengthened to the point where it's almost impossible to get sick. Varicose veins are also improved and the liver is helped to detoxify. It also appears to strengthen connective tissue, so possibly no more sagging jowls. Dr. Gus J. Prosch, Jr. of Biomed Health Services notes that, ''With rebounding the membranes around each cell become stronger as they demand more protein from the body. These thicker membranes are better able to fight off foreign invaders like germs, toxins, poisons and other pollutants more effectively.'' Dr. Morton Walker, a major writer and lecturer in the self-help and holistic fields states that rebounding helps fight fatigue by toning the glandular system to increase the output of the thyroid, pituitary (which produces a growth hormone) and adrenal glands; stengthens and nourishes the heart to fight heart disease; improves circulation; reduces blood pressure; aids muscle tone, training, performance and endurance while building strength reserves; halts bone loss; boosts red blood cells; increases and circulates oxygen; aids in lymphatic circulation; promotes body and bone growth; stimulates metabolism; enhances digestion and eliminaiton; reduces obesity; builds alkaline reserve; aids peak cell function; improves coordination; delivers muscle pain relief; eases women's ''time of the month'' discomforts; maintains peak brain function; promotes better sleep; minimizes the number of colds and stops premature aging by reversing, preventing or diminishing hardening of the arteries as well as lowering triglyceride levels. Rebounding can also improve eyesight by promoting better circulation within the eye to feed the cornia, iris and lens. Arthritis pain? Get to the root of the cause: lymphatic congestion. When lymph moves into your joints through the miracle of rebounding harmful acids will be vacuumed from your painful joints and tissues. Order direct from their site
